Plantasia Sets the Mood for Spring!
The Hamburg Fairgrounds Expo Center was in full bloom March 23-27 with WNY landscapers, garden centers and florists displaying their skills for the public to
enjoy.  Springville Area businesses were well represented
again, with impressive booths/displays by A Growing
Business, Shamel Milling, Lamb & Webster, Gernatt
Asphalt Products, Concord Amish Village, Jake's
Greenhouse, Miller’s Landscaping, Chevalier Outdoor
Living and of course, the Chamber of Commerce.

Each year vendor displays are judged by a panel of
independent experts and prizes are awarded in 13
different categories.  Springville-based businesses
distinguished themselves in five prestigious categories.
Chevalier Outdoor Living’s impressive exhibit took home
top honors in three categories: Best Garden (Large), Best
Use of Plant Material (Large Garden), and Best Use of
Water (Large Garden).  Concord Amish Village’s display,
which featured an Amish shed and primitive crafts, won
the Best Vendor Equipment/Hardscapes award.  Rock
Works Masonry partnered with Oak Hill Professional
Landscaping to win Best Use of Hardscapes (Large
Garden).

Many thanks go out to Bob Engel, of Shamel Milling, for
all his hard work chairing the Chamber’s Plantasia
Committee.  Congratulations to all the Springville area
participants for another successful event and for doing
such an impressive job of showing WNY that Springville
is home to incredibly talented and creative businesses!
